This beautiful painting of two women tending their sheep. Ray Swanson favored painting of rural people working the land and animals to make a living. He was famous for his portraits of the Navajo elders and Navajo children dressed in their native colorful attire. His awards are numerous including ten gold medal and five silver medals. The painting measures 50x36 without frame. With the frame the measurement is 63 x49.
